Online check-in

Online check-in is the process in which passengers confirm their seat on the flight via the internet and print their boarding passes. The printout is then presented at the airport, ahead of your flight. This saves you time and as you are not required to stand in long queues at the airport. The online check-in option is available on the airline’s website, which is usually open for bookings 24 hours before the flight. For convenience, some airlines scan the digial copy of your boarding pass from your phone, so that you do not have to print out your boarding pass. By using the online check-in process, passengers can choose their seat of preference (usually the window seat). To be able to check-in online on your computer, make sure you have your flight details, name and surname, booking confirmation number and passport number (if you have an international flight).
