An airport lounge is a convenient place for you to replenish yourself whilst waiting for your flight to depart. The Cape Town International Airport offers the Premier Lounge which offers access to any passenger, regardless of the ticket class or airline. Customers can book in advance and pay per visit or purchase a pre-paid card for more than 6 visits. Below is a guide to a list of Cape Town International Airport lounges. These lounges are separated into domestic lounges and international lounges. All offer the following amenities: premium food, snacks, alcohol, Wifi and showers.
Domestic departures terminal lounges
Bidvest Premier Lounge Domestic Terminal
Located at the domestic terminal, airside. Reserved for domestic passengers only.
This split-level lounge is airy, and offers many amenities including savory snacks, soft and alcoholic drinks and a separate smoking room.
Reservations: The lounge is reserved for ticketed passengers to a maximum of a 2 hour stay prior to departure.
SAA Voyager Platinum Lounge at Cape Town Airport
Located at the domestic terminal (inside security)
The lounge offers passengers the opportunity to relax and unwind, with its luxury and modern fittings and furnishings.
Reservations: The lounge does not currently accept reservations; however, this is a work in progress.
Access to the lounge: The lounge is reserved and entry depends on the customer’s premium tickets, elite status and other access restrictions.
SAA Baobab Premium Class Lounge
Located at the domestic terminal (inside security)
The lounge offers a warm, luxurious and modern ambience with African opulence in its décor.
Reservations: The lounge does not currently accept reservations; however, this is a work in progress.
Access to the lounge: The lounge is reserved and entry depends on the customer’s premium tickets, elite status and other access restrictions.
SLOW Lounge at Cape Town International Airport
Located at the domestic terminal (inside security). Near Gates C1 and C2.
The SLOW lounge is an award-winning domestic airport lounge.
Reservations: The lounge does not currently accept reservations; however, this is a work in progress.
Access to the lounge: The lounge is restricted to qualifying British Airways, operated by Comair customers, FNB Premium card holders, clients of RMB Private Bank and FNB Private Bank. No access to the lounge for passengers on kulula.com flights operated by Comair.
International departures terminal lounges

The Emirates Lounge
Located at the international terminal (inside security). Next to Gate A3
The Emirates lounge offers a focus on comfort and quality and is a two-level lounge.

British Airways Galleries Lounge
Located at the international terminal. End of Terminal Concourse, Past Gate A3, Opposite Gate A4
Reservations: The lounge does not currently accept reservations; however, this is a work in progress.
Access to the lounge: The lounge is reserved and entry depends on the customer’s premium tickets, elite status and other access restrictions. Access may also be restricted to premium passengers with other oneworld carriers.
Protocol Lounge
Located adjacent to the northern side of the international departures’ terminal.

Smokers’ lounge at Cape Town Airport
Access to this lounge is free and offers internet access. It is located in the international departures’ terminal, is managed by British American. Entrance is free.
